WHERE I'M FROM
While this is the first year Seven Seeds has brought this coffee to Melbourne, it is the product of a friendship that goes back many years. Producer Miguel Medina, President of Anacafe has been our first point of call on many origin trips to Guatemala. His farm is located in the beautiful coffee growing region of Antigua, nestled in a valley sourrounded by three volcanoes Agua, Fuego and Acatenango.

Nestled between Aberdare National Park and Mount Kenya National Park lies the Kigwandi Coffee Factory, now operating under the Mutheka Farmers Cooperative Society after splitting off from the Tetu Farmers Cooperative Society in 2008. Growing in a region renowned for producing highly sought after specialty coffee, Kigwandi and Seven Seeds share the same goal of establishing a transparent trust-based relationship with the farmers while delivering high quality and unique coffee.
