PRODUCER

Small farm holders of surrounding Kebeles

WHERE I'M FROM

Established in ‘09 with a wet mill at 1850msl and the surrounding kebeles farmed at elevations between 1900-2100 msl, the wet mill uses a Penhalense Eco pulping machine equipped with a green cherry separator, pulper and mucilage remover which enables more control over quality when processing. Another feature is its ability to process using very little water, once it passes and becomes waste the byproduct runs down to the wetlands where the indigenous flora locally known as “magic flax” absorbs and processes the waste so runoff to local streams does not pose potential risk of pollution.

HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH?
For some, it's never enough. But a good gauge would be something along the lines of this...
1 x 250g - perfect for a cup each day (even weekends!), for two weeks.
2 x 250g - two weeks worth for a couple who like to start each day with a fresh brew.
1 x 1kg - for a household, a small shared studio space or office of 4 - 5 people or a really motivated individual game enough for 3+ coffees a day, for two weeks.
