HOW DOES A COFFEE SUBSCRIPTION WORK?

Sign up for a coffee subscription and receive a fortnightly coffee delivery, roasted to order, whole beans or ground to suit your brew style. Pay as you go and pause when you need to, or choose our prepaid option when you sign up.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much coffee do I need?

For some, it's never enough. But a good gauge would be something along the lines of...
  • 1 x 250g - perfect for one cup each day for two weeks.
  • 2 x 250g - two weeks' worth for a couple who like to start each day with a fresh brew.
  • 1 x 1kg - for a household, small shared studio space or office of 4 - 5 people for two weeks.
 

How do I log in to my subscription account?

Create an account here using the same email address you use for your subscription. Your Seven Seeds store account and subscription account will link automatically.
 
From there, you can click Login at the top-right of each page and follow the Manage Your Subscription link to make any necessary changes.
 

Can I change the frequency of my deliveries?

Yes, you can!
Login and follow the Manage Your Subscription link to adjust the frequency of your shipments. Alternatively, feel free to reach out to us via subscriptions@sevenseeds.com.au, and we can make this change for you.
 
Just a heads up - our single-origin releases are changed every fortnight and may be repeated. If you move to a four-week schedule, you may miss a rotating release and receive the same lot twice in a row.
 
If you wish to make any changes, please do so before Sunday billing, as we can not make any changes after your payment has been processed and your order has landed in our system.
 

Can I pause my subscription, or skip an order?

Absolutely!
Login and follow the Manage Your Subscription link to skip an order or place your subscription on pause. Alternatively, feel free to reach out to us via subscriptions@sevenseeds.com.au, and we can make this change for you.
 
We recommend using SKIP for one-off occurrences, for example, if you have a backlog of beans. Your subscription will automatically renew from the next scheduled date.
 
We recommend using PAUSE for longer breaks, holidays, moving house or if you're unsure when you'll need your next delivery. Your subscription will not start again until you unpause.
 
If you wish to make any changes, please do so before Sunday billing, as we can not make any changes after your payment has been processed and your order has landed in our system.
 

I'm a local - can I pick up instead of waiting for a delivery?

We offer free pick-up from our Fairfield Roastery & HQ. Subscriptions can not be picked up from our cafes.
 
Choose Free Roastery Pick Up when you sign up for your subscription, or login and follow the Manage Your Subscription link to change from your current shipping method. Alternatively, feel free to reach out to us via subscriptions@sevenseeds.com.au and we can make this change for you.
 
Your order will be ready for collection from 12PM Tuesday following your billing date. You won't receive an email alerting you - just come on in!
 
The Roastery & HQ is open 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday to Friday. If our usual Monday roast day is a public holiday, your subscription will be delayed one day, and ready from Wednesday.
 

How do I purchase a subscription as a gift?

A coffee subscription is a fantastic gift idea!
 
Choose the type of coffee, the number of deliveries (six or twelve) and tick the "Prepay for your subscription" checkbox. The total cost of the subscription, plus shipping, will be charged to you in one go.
 
Enter the recipient's shipping address and contact details at checkout, and they'll start receiving their orders from our next roast date.
 
Please note that we can not pause or reschedule the first shipment; this one must go through to trigger all recurring orders. If you're purchasing a prepaid subscription on behalf of someone else, we recommend making sure they're ready to start receiving coffee immediately.
 
 

How does the automated billing work?

For ongoing subscriptions (that is, not pre-paid), your payment method is automatically charged on the Sunday evening before your fortnightly shipment, and your order details are sent into our fulfilment system.
 
If your payment method is declined, there will be three automated retries before your subscription is placed on Pause. You can login, update your payment method, and unpause your subscription anytime. Once your subscription is resumed, your order will be included in the next Monday roast.
 
If you wish to make any changes to your subscription, including skipping/pausing, changing a shipping address, or changing a product, please do so before Sunday billing. We can not make any changes after your payment has been processed and your order has landed in our system.
 
 

I've received an Online Gift Card! Can I use this to sign up for a subscription?

Unfortunately, no.
Our subscription platform uses its own dedicated checkout page to schedule your recurring shipments. This checkout does not accept Shopify gift cards or discount codes.
