The Bensa Highlands, where this lot originates, have experienced climate change over the last fifty years, creating conditions ideal for growing coffee in the region. Much of the coffee industry in the highlands is no more than 20 years old.The high altitude means access to water for cherry processing is limited, making natural processing a necessary preference.
