TASTES LIKE Mango, Milk Chocolate & HoneycombPROFILE Creamy & Sweet
This CoE award winning farm, 30 hectare in size, is situated in the small town of Piatã in Bahia’s Chapada Diamantina region, at an altitude of 1,300 metres above sea level. Chapada Diamantina translates to ”Diamond Plateau” in Portuguese, and for 100 years this area was mined for the gemstones embedded in its cliffs. Today the region is famous for its specialty coffee, with Candido naming his farm ‘Green Gold.’

ROASTING IS SUBJECTIVE, BUT TRANSPARENCY IS CLEAR
We believe in the future of coffee so we’re publishing the price we pay for coffee, so farmers don’t need to turn to other crops. We’ve listed the FOB (Freight on Board) price we paid to the exporter . Before publishing we went able to confirm the farmgate price that Candido Ladeia received directly. On top of FOB, this coffee was shipped to Melbourne, quality assessments completed, roasted (resulting in a 15% weight loss), & retailed, adding significant costs. You can read more about the way we source coffee via our website.
Compare the different trading models to see what Candido would have received if they hadn’t sold to Seven Seeds.
