Since 1995 Juan Carlos Ventura and his family have been growing coffee in the South-West of Honduras. He employs up to forty families come harvest time in addition to two who maintain the farm year round. The coffee is mostly dried using raised beds, a method traditionally used in Africa, which is gaining popularity in Central America.
