COMMUNITY MANAGER - FULL TIME
LOCATION - SEVEN SEEDS FAIRFIELD
Searching for an all-rounder with experience in design, social media and e-commerce to join us as Community Manager at our newly established HQ and roastery in Fairfield, starting end of February 2017.
Seven Seeds HQ is made up of a small collaborative team of individuals who all have their own domain but work together on a range of ideas and projects to push the business forward.
The Seven Seeds Community Manager is the face, voice and presence of the company, managing communications inwards and outwards, as well as responsible for social media, events and content creation, among other things.
You will be someone with a full hand of skills, the ability to multitask and the initiative to contribute to all of projects and tasks as they arise. As the first point of contact for all retail, wholesale, marketing, events and general enquiries - you will be resourceful, a quick thinker, problem solver and always up for a bit of banter.
No day is the same, no task too big, too dirty, too boring, too small.
Hanging out in Adobe Creative Suite will be something you’re well familiar with to produce all content (both written and image) for digital and print using the current branding guidelines as well as suitable language and tone for our audience. Experience finalising artwork for packaging and print is necessary.
You’ll also manage the online retail store, the wholesale website and our subscription database. E-commerce experience will be important as well as a bit of coding knowledge (or a cheeky little google here and there) to maintain the outward image of Seven Seeds.
Within the role there are aspects of office coordination that include the responsibility of the performance and daily operations of all office activities while providing support to the owners, the roaster manager, the wholesale dispatch manager, the general manager and each venue manager. Microsoft excel shouldn’t phase you and jumping from creative content creation to numbers based files will be a welcome change of scenery.
Over and above the role requires you to be able to work autonomously, setting your daily tasks and timelines for them to be fulfilled. You will contribute to business development, improving and implementing systems in various departments of the company to aid in the growth of the business.
The ideal candidate for the role will -
- Be a creative thinker
- Have experience with content creation, both copy and image
- Have A+ communication skills (written and verbal)
- Have excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Have an eye for detail
- Be familiar with mac computers
- know their way around Adobe creative suite and be experienced in completing artwork files for print and packaging production
- be comfortable working in Microsoft office, social media platforms and an e-commerce site
- Thrive in a small team environment
- Love coffee
