Shipping Information

DECEMBER SHIPPING - HOLIDAY SEASON

Following the Black Friday sales and ahead of the Christmas rush period, we are seeing delays with freight through Australia Post.

Unfortunately this is due to the volume of parcels in their network and it is outside of our control.

We will continue to send orders within 1-2 business days as always. For urgent coffee needs, we recommend ordering for pick up from our Fairfield Roastery or visiting a Seven Seeds Cafe.

Roasting Schedule

We roast our coffee from Monday to Friday, but not every type each day. We aim to ship orders within 1-2 business days.

Roasted coffee reaches it's peak 5-14 days after roasting and stays fresh for up to 30 days. We may send coffee roasted a few days earlier.

The Roastery and Head Office are closed on weekends and public holidays; we do not roast or ship these days.

Domestic Shipping

Australia-Wide
Domestic orders are shipped using Australia Post Parcel Post and Express Post. Delivery times are subject to Australia Post's current advice which can be found here. As of January 2022, Express Post is still treated with priority however there is no next-day guarantee.

Tracking and Delivery
Your tracking number will be emailed to you directly from the shipping partner when your order is dispatched. Please ensure you provide a valid email address and contact number.

All parcels are marked as 'Authority to Leave'. If you do not want this selection made, leave a comment in the comments section at checkout advising so. Please keep in mind that if no one is home to sign for the parcel, it may be delivered to your nearest parcel collection point or returned to Seven Seeds. 

International Shipping 

Customs and duties, import fees and any other taxes are the responsibility of the receiver; we recommend seeking this information from your border/import body. 

Delivery times are subject to Australia Post's current advice which can be found here, please refer to the Standard Parcel timeframes. Please note there can be service disruptions for which Seven Seeds cannot bear responsibility. It is your responsibility to provide a secure and attended delivery address.

You will receive a tracking number from Australia Post when the order is dispatched. Please ensure you enter a valid email address.

DHL Express
DHL Express is available to certain locations, in most cases delivered within 2-4 working days after dispatch. Premium rates apply to this service.  If you require a faster shipping option and DHL does not appear at checkout for your location, please contact us at shop@sevenseeds.com.au

 

How does delivery and freight time impact the quality of my coffee beans?

Fresh is sometimes, counter-intuitively, too fresh. We’ve found the best window to use roasted coffee is between 5-14 days after roasting. And, importantly coffee continues to be optimal for at least 30 days after roast.

With this in mind, you will still have plenty of time to enjoy your coffee after it has completed its journey from us to you.

While we do ask our freight partners to take care, we also recommend ensuring there is a safe space, out of direct sunlight, for any orders sent with Authority to Leave.

Freight delays 

Once your order has been collected by the chosen freight carrier, delivery times are outside of our control.  We are unable to refund or replace items that are delayed during transit If the order is declared lost or missing, we will refund or replace it.
