Seven Seeds at The Veneziano Aeropress Cup Fundraiser

A couple months back, Veneziano Coffee Roasters held an Aeropress Cup Competition to raise money for the Red Cross disaster aid for Türkiye, Syria and New Zealand. Seven Seeds was very excited to have Jacob, our Dispatch Coordinator at The Roastery & HQ, compete on the evening against the twenty other competitors.

Held at their Richmond roastery, the competition consisted of five elimination rounds with the winning baristas from each round competing in the final before the champion was announced. Each round kicked off with 10 minutes of dialling in with the Mahlkonig X54 Allround Coffee Grinder, before serving up their best brew to a panel of judges.

Seven Seeds crew members headed down to the event to support Jacob and the important fundraiser. The evening was a great success, with champagne and drinks served, cupping of Veneziano’s Pinnacle coffee range, raffles and many prizes to be won for an important cause. One hundred percent of all profits from the evening were donated the Red Cross disaster aid.

A big congratulations to Jacob for his efforts on the evening and thank you to Veneziano & Aeropress for hosting the fantastic fundraiser, it was a great pleasure to be apart of it.
