Takesi’s Geisha is one of the rarest, most coveted coffees in the world. Grown at altitudes up to 3,200 meters in the Bolivian Andes, it develops slowly, allowing its delicate florals, soft tropical fruit notes, and tea-like clarity to shine.
This year, Seven Seeds celebrates ten years of working directly with Finca Takesi. It’s a rare and special relationship; one shared by only a handful of roasters globally, and we feel incredibly lucky to be the exclusive partner for Australia.
Each harvest offers something extraordinary, and the 2025 release is no exception. This year’s cup reveals an elegant and aromatic profile, sparkling with notes of orange sorbet, soft cherry blossom, and a touch of wild honey. It is a pleasure to present a coffee of such impressive clarity, quality and worldwide reputation.
Finca Takesi was founded by the Iturralde family in 2001, born from a dream to show the world that Bolivia could produce outstanding coffee. Set along the ancient Takeshi path, its name means "awakening people". A fitting name not just for a coffee farm, but for a place that's opened eyes across the industry.
For Seven Seeds, roasting this coffee is always a privilege. It represents not only years of dedication from Mariana Iturralde and her team, but also our shared belief in quality, transparency, and long-term partnership. We’re proud to share this release with you and grateful for the chance to tell its story.
