This naturally processed Geisha from Minas Gerais, Brazil makes its second appearance at Seven Seeds and we couldn’t be more thrilled. This lot comes to us from Luiz Paulo, founder of Carmo Coffees and the visionary behind the renowned Santuário Sul project.
This exceptional coffee benefits from Luiz's meticulous post-harvest drying techniques, which are designed to preserve the purity of flavour and showcase the inherent elegance of this highly sought-after varietal. On the cupping table we enjoyed this Geisha's juicy orange flavours, soft and decadent texture, and good complexity.
This Geisha is one of over 30 exotic varietals cultivated at Santuario Sul, the farm project founded by Luiz Paulo in 2015 to challenge global perceptions of Brazilian coffee, driven by bold experimentation in processing and an expanded selection of cultivars.
Alongside exotic varietals not native to Brazil, Luiz brings his innovative approach to traditional cultivars, including the Bourbon featured on our espresso menu earlier this year. His dedication and hard work is evident in their vibrant and distinctive flavour profiles.
