    CoE via Burundi

In recent weeks, we've had an exciting shipment of coffee from Burundi which we're super pumped for as they were coffees entered into the Burundi National Cup Of Excellence. We've added a touch of Burundi Gitaba into the Seven Seeds Espresso Blend and we've also added Burundi Mubuga to our single origin filter options. You'll find both these coffees in our online store and in our cafes.

    Hello Brazil

We're bidding farewell to Ethiopia Kochere and saying hello to Brazil Serra.

This is a washed processed coffee which is pretty unusual for Brazil but it's clean flavour shows that the efforts are well worth it.
    Check it out here...

    Sourcing time

It's that time of year where we are travel heavy, jetting off to the corners of the globe to source more coffee from our farmers at origin.

Our roaster, Matthew, touched down in Ethiopia on Friday while Kc made her way to Guatemala.
Matthew is spending his time in Jimma, South Western Ethiopia, to cup and check the quality on a bunch of lots submitted by coops we've bought from previously as well as some new coffees.
Kc is heading straight to Huehuetenango, a region where we source some of our best Guatemalans. She'll be cupping with our mates at Finca Rosma and Finca Villaure who we've bought from for a number of years.

    Easy travelling guys!

    New treats on the menu

Following the recent coffee changes, we've also made a few slight adjustments to the current cafe menu. It's all looking pretty tasty and we've had great feedback from customers so far. Drop in and check it out - top dish this week?
Eggs Benedict on english muffins w/ corned beef and a seeded mustard hollandaise.
A slightly different take on a classic.

    Ch-ch-changes!

It's time to make some changes, Brazils have just landed in the big shed, as have a couple of new Colombian coffees.
Which means the Seven Seeds Espresso Blend has had a change of components. It also means San Sebastian is no longer available but has been replaced by Colombia Matambo.
    Have a gander...and enjoy!

    A pot of gold...

Mark is currently travelling through Panama, cupping some great coffees and catching up with some producers including the Peterson Family of Hacienda La Esmeralda, Wilford Lamastus of Elida Estate and Fransisco Serracia of Don Pacha.
So far this season looks promising with some stunners on the cupping table. It's still early in the harvest season so we'll be receiving samples here in the big shed in the next few weeks hopefully...exciting times!
